Planetarium Prague exhibition

We have opened a new permanent exhibition at the Prague Planetarium titled “Meteorites: A Chronicle of the Solar System”- and the best part is that it is free for all visitors to the planetarium.

We are the authors and curators behind this entire exhibition – Milan Zvára and Zdeněk Schneider from Alienrocks. Our goal was to present meteorites as more than just interesting stones in a display case; we wanted to show them as true witnesses to the origin and evolution of the Solar System.

Unlike many museums, where dozens of meteorites are on display but often accompanied only by brief descriptions, we decided to prioritize quality over quantity. The exhibition features 8 carefully selected meteorites, each of which tells a fascinating story not only about its own origin but also about how our Solar System formed and evolved.

You’ll also see unique specimens here that aren’t even found in many museums. And because we didn’t want to limit ourselves to a static display, the entire exhibition is designed as an interactive experience.
