The core of an ancient planet
The Muonionalusta meteorite was once part of the core of an ancient asteroid that is now extinct. But it was large enough for an iron core to form at its centre due to gravity, just like our own planet. But it wasn't as lucky as Earth and one day it collided with another giant space body. The impact was so violent that the core itself was torn apart and one of the glowing fragments took a long journey through cold space, cooling again and forming the translucent structure we can admire together today.
