Meteorite | Chondrite | 1827 g

Product detailed description
Chondrites are the most common type of meteorite. However, few are as well preserved as this exhibit.
Beautifully visible regmaglypts - indentations carved into the surface of the meteorite, resembling thumbprints
Weighing almost 2 kilograms, this meteorite must have created an amazing fiery spectacle as it flew through the atmosphere. This is evidenced by the fascinating regmaglypts scattered across its surface and its elegant crust. Both were caused by the enormous temperatures this stone faced after traveling undisturbed through space for 4.5 billion years.
This witness to the beginnings of the solar system and its dramatic entry into our atmosphere should not be missing from any collection.
